What the report covers
Each report records the species, size, health and structure of the tree, identifies defects such as decay, cracks or root damage, assesses the level of risk, and makes clear recommendations: retain, prune, monitor or remove. For development work we calculate tree protection zones and structural root zones so your builder knows where they can and cannot dig.
Why it matters for your permit
Councils decide tree applications on evidence. A report that clearly explains why a tree is dangerous, dying or unsuitable for its location gives your application the best chance, and avoids delays from requests for more information.
